Our little man weighs about 3.3 pounds, and measures about 16 inches/ 41 centimetres from crown to toe. Paul is freaked out by the sheer amount of stuff required to clean, feed and clothe his child, and we only have 63 days left.
Baby Shower: Irish Edition went well on Saturday night. I got tons of baby sleepers and outfits fit for the cutest boy this side of Eric Joseph Duhart, loads of blankets and bathtime stuff. Paul and I went through it all on Sunday morning, me telling him how cute every single thing was and him trying to figure out why we needed so many facecloths. Looking forward to the shower this weekend with more people who love us. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.
At my ultrasound last Thursday the baby's head is already down, and here's hoping it stays that way. He is curled up on my right side, and was not very cooperatvie during the scan. She kept trying to move him and he kept giving me kicks to the ribs in protest. How is that fair? Once he gets here I'm going to take him back so he can kick HER.
